Né-net is a Japanese fashion brand founded in 2005 by designer Kazuaki Takashima under the fashion company A-net Inc. The brand became known for its creative, playful, and unconventional approach to everyday clothing, offering collections for both men and women. Its philosophy centered on creating comfortable, imaginative garments that could be enjoyed by people regardless of age or gender.

The name "Né-net" is derived from the French word naître, meaning "to be born," reflecting the brand's emphasis on creativity, originality, and fresh perspectives in fashion. Rather than following fast-changing trends, Né-net focused on storytelling, artistic expression, and clothing designed to bring joy to daily life.

One of the brand's most recognizable features was its whimsical designs, oversized silhouettes, colorful graphics, and playful character motifs. The famous "Nyaa" cat character, introduced in 2007, became a signature element of the brand and later developed into its own independent label.
