Collection: Maison Margiela

Founded by Martin Margiela in Paris in 1988, Maison Margiela reshaped contemporary fashion through anonymity, deconstruction, and conceptual rigor. From the outset, Margiela resisted personal publicity—rarely giving interviews or appearing at shows—allowing the work to exist independently of the designer’s image. Emerging from the Antwerp avant-garde, the house became known for raw hems, exposed linings, and repurposed vintage garments, challenging traditional notions of luxury, authorship, and identity.
